Phoebe Breadmore joined May Shaw as an Administration Assistant. After her commencement Phoebe expressed an interest in marketing and promotion. Utilising the Tasmanian funding in marketing support Phoebe commenced engaging in the marketing side of the business. May Shaw supported her to commence training in the speciality and Phoebe got guidance and support from an external marketing firm to continue in her learning pathway. Phoebe has now completed a Content Marketing Certificate. With her newfound skills she has platformed a new strategy document for the board, developed a Marketing Plan, set up and catapulted May Shaw’s Facebook page into our community, and established Instagram as well as building a home care bulletin, updating the staff/resident newsletter, and creating website improvements.
Phoebe has an eye for graphic design and has ensured that all May Shaw marketing and promotional material is professional and catches the eye of all that review our products. Phoebe was integral in creating our inaugural recipe book which contains recipes from residents, staff, and community members. The recipe book became the Christmas gift for all staff in 2021 which was very appreciated. Phoebe is in the process of updating the website and building a shopping page where family can purchase May Shaw books, and promotional products. The innovation in supporting Managers and the team to promote May Shaw has taken our small service into the modern era and created innovation across the sites.
