During COVID-19, the team delivered gardening gift bags to a range of residents to help alleviate the isolation and provide an activity where each person could grow a mystery plant to show their friends when they could meet again.
Each bag contained a pot, soil, instructions and three mystery seeds. When we were able to meet again as a group, residents brought in photos of how well their plant had grown during the three months apart.
The project gave everyone something to look forward to as they waited for their seed to grow and see what plant they had. It was a great talking point for phone conversations and for the group of friends when they saw each other after such an extended time away.
