At Baptistcare, our People Strategy is focused on cultivating people practices that enable leaders to build a highly engaged and flexible workforce, producing positive outcomes for our customers through our people and our leaders. Our people are the way we will achieve our vision of creating ‘a meaningful life’.
The People Strategy focuses on developing and empowering our leaders to be accountable for their people activities. An extensive Leadership Development Programme (LDP) has been developed, underpinned by our People and Culture team whose focus is to coach and enable leaders.
The LDP currently reaches almost 300 of our people across the Perth metropolitan and regional WA (incl. the South West, Great Southern and the Wheatbelt). Traditionally leadership programs are targeted at existing senior leadership or executive roles; at Baptistcare we are investing in developing leaders among frontline and clinical employees providing care and not just at the traditional senior executive titles or levels.
As part of the LDP Baptistcare has embedded the TRACI values of Togetherness, Respect, Accountability, Caring and Integrity throughout the modules. As we are committed to our leaders living and driving the values and behaviours of TRACI throughout every facet of the organisation and the services we provide to our customers.
