On 14 May 2020, an enrolled nurse working at the North Rockhampton Nursing Centre tested positive for COVID-19 and became the initial index case for the infection.  The aged care facility immediately went into lockdown.

This webinar will highlight how Queensland Health responded to this emergency.

We will hear from Steve Williamson, Health Services Chief Executive of Central Queensland Hospital and Health Services District, who ran the Rapid Response Team and Bronwyn Nardi, Acting Deputy Director-General Prevention Division Queensland Health who was involved in the response to the North Rockhampton COVID-19 experience.
