Six months into the COVID-19 pandemic hitting Australia’s shores, providers are well aware of the need to prepare for an outbreak but have you rigorously tested your plans? Do you know where your risks are? Have you got back up plans in place for your workforce, from hospitality staff, registered nurses, cleaners, care workers and executives?
ACSA is launching a free, member-only online support platform which provides access to tools specially developed to support ACSA members. This webinar will focus on the self-assessment tool ‘COVID-19 Outbreak First 24 hours’.
The self-assessment uses the Department of Health document ‘First 24 hours-managing COVID-19 in a residential aged care facility’ as its basis, and steps you through the key tasks you need to undertake in those critical first 24 hours. The structure of the self-assessment supports testing your Outbreak Management plans, and will assist in identifying areas for improvement.
