Explore the critical relationship between the Chair and CEO of aged care organisations.
A strong Chair/CEO relationship is vital in ensuring effective board performance and delivering good governance outcomes. It sets the tone of the organisation and is particularly crucial during times of crisis.
ACSA has partnered with The Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) on this first in a regular series of webinars on aged care governance.
Join Chair, Virginia Bourke, and Group CEO, Adjunct Professor Stephen Cornelissen, of Mercy Health, one of Australia’s largest health care providers and an ACSA member. In conversation with AICD’s NFP Sector Lead, Phil Butler GAICD, they will discuss this unique and crucially important relationship.
The panel will share insights on their journey through the COVID-19 pandemic – with a particular focus on providing care for vulnerable people – and will offer key lessons and tips that participants can use to improve the effectiveness of their own boards.
Who should attend?
The event is suitable for CEOs, Chairs and Directors of not-for-profit organisations in the aged care, disability and health sectors and other organisations responsible for the care of vulnerable people.
