The roll-out of the COVID-19 vaccination to residential aged care facilities commenced on Monday 22 February, including to a number of ACSA members.
The implementation of the roll-out sits with the Commonwealth working in conjunction with State/Territory Governments.
In this member meeting, ACSA CEO Patricia Sparrow and the ACSA policy team will provide an update on the roll-out and what ACSA members can expect during the process for residents and staff.
ACSA member Uniting had the vaccine rolled out in two of their facilities on Day One of the program this week. They will detail their experience with the roll out and how it went.
A Department of Health Vaccine Task Force representative will give an overview of the first few days of the roll-out and how it will continue going forward.
There will also be plenty of time for Q&A.
